Golf Trolley as a gift

Nice trolley, I got one a few years back from McGuirks when they had a 20% off everything weekend, if you are in no rush this is about the only way to beat the price you have already, note that GSE are notorious for ordering in stock after your purchase so don't rely on getting it straight away...

Try McGuirks too. Maybe its better to go to a bricks and mortar shop for such an item in case you have any problem and need to return. A shop should match/better an on-line price.

I would look at Motocaddy too - I recently got one and have no problems and they have good selection of optional add-ons such as umbrella holder, card holder etc.

My mother waited 4 weeks for golf store Europe to deliver a powakaddy and had to cancel. Their customer service is appalling.

Some of the newer powakaddy lithiums have a slot in battery that uses metal contacts to connect. Not sure if it's on that model. There are 2 problems with this. 1. If you hit a bump it can knock the power off and you have to switch back on. 2. When it comes to replacing the battery you'll have to buy powakaddy and will pay the price.

Personally, I'd prefer motocaddy having recently replaced my powakaddy for one.
