Finishing Cattle

    Just throwin this out there

    was chatting to fella yestarday and he was tellin me that when you are feeding meal to finish cattle that you need to give it to them at the same time every day.
    he reckons if you don't keep to the same meal feeding cycle time that you loose 1-2 days weight gain when you get back into the cycle

    would it be similar to the 8/16 milking cycle for cows i wonder

    Any of ye heard of this - doesn't add up in my book as they will have ad lib access to silage anyway

    In beef setup ad lib feeding makes this a load of bs

    In dairy tho on an indoor system the cows like routine but wheter or not there is any measurable benefit ..... Doubt it
