    Nah. It was google mis-translations and me coming on to too strong. I tried everything after she bailed and when it was already too late. Different culture too. I had no idea what she was wanted. I don't think she knows either.

    @Rob - sorry, I did reply, but it didn't post. I just went to extraordinary lengths to try win her back. I studied what I thought went went wrong and talked to a lot of people who were familiar with culture and who understood what happened. I identified the messages between us where is started to go pear shaped and realised that they were mis-translsated. We had arguments about stuff that neither of us said. I tried to craft the perfect email to explain this and got it translated by a native Portuguese speaker to explain this. But she had moved on.

    I think you should try mediation. The Irish Brazilian Mediation Association has a very good reputation.
