Wouldn't imagine it is, any drives coming off the front pulley?

If not slacken alternator mounts and push it towards the engine so you have slack to fit new belt. Use a lever to pull alternator back out to tension belt (don't do the dog on it) and tighten bolts.

There is no drives comin off pulley but how would I get it off over the fan?

Unless the fan has a solid rim around the outside your biggest problem is not losing too much skin off your knuckles!

Wriggle it over one blade at a time. Some tractor radiators have a spot in the fan shroud with a bit more space to get the belt in in front of the fan, and you stick the belt in there and rotate the fan by hand till the belt is in place.
