Should be around 200 euro mark.

It depends on what you think is worth your while for rearing them.
I rear the calves to 16 months and it roughly costs me 600 euro so anything over that in the mart is profit. You have to take in machinery, diesel, sheds after that.

I kept most calves two years ago and sold off grass last sep/oct.AA and HE bullocks and heifers.Avg weight AA 495. HE 478.They would have made e230+ easily as calves.Kept them 17 months longer and they left e60 more than what they would have left as calves

Good Hex calves at €200 would be OK.
But its impossible to get any number at that.
Local dairy farmers here were starting at €275 for heifers and €325 for bulls all last spring. Mart prices I saw were mostly supporting this too.
