    *not looking for medical advice/treatment*

Hi all. I am a runner, and have been having knee pain for about 18 months. Sharp pains around the kneecap, often a burning sensation almost, and a feeling of weakness in knees. Started in left knee but now affects both knees. Pain doesn't just come when running, I seem to have it whether I am active or not, even if I am moving around or simply sitting down.
Have been to about a dozen physios and a knee consultant as well, and the diagnosis was patellar femoral syndrome - have done all the strengthening and stretching I have been given, but to no avail. I am now looking for a recommendation - basically a good physio or the likes in Dublin or near Dublin who is an expert on or specialises in Knees.

Any runners out there know of anyone, or have had an issue like this that was resolved by a physio?

PF Syndrome is a description of the issue rather than a diagnosis

Roughly where in Dublin are you based and people will be able to provide someone in the locality?

2 in close proximity to you would be Functional Training Ireland on Fitzwilliams St. or Aidan Woods on Pearse Street who have a decent reputation for dealing with runners

Had an issue with one of my knees last year - could run about a mile before experiencing a sharp pain on the outside of the knee. Found raglan sports medicine good, fitzwilliam sq area. The problem was my foot.
