Hi guys, qualufied secondary teacher here starting my first subbing day tomorrow. Its casual subbing , 5 hours tomorrow only for a teacher. What do I need to do regarding payment and bank details. Also when would I be paid?

I would bring my bank account number and sort code. The secretary (or whoever is over pay) will probably ask for them. If you are in an ETB - it may be in two weeks time or in a month depending on the etb. If you are in a secondary school it will be Thursday two weeks. Good luck.

Just be sure to have your bank details and information to hand. Worth making a note of your teaching council number. You may want the school to sign off on the form if you want your subbing hours to count towards your 300 hours if you are newly qualified.
