Quick question, have a 3 year old zanussi machine which has started making a lot of banging noises on spinning, checked springs and they are all in place so I'm assuming it's probably the bearings. Called zanussi to check guarantee, they'll cover parts but labour will be 140 as they said bearings can't be replaced and they'll need to replace the drum.

140 is a lot of money at the mo so does anyone reckon it can be done cheaper or do I just bite the bullet and get it done

the bearings cant be changed because the outer tubs are glued together, so its either get it repaired or replace the washer
