Do they do a private course like NCEF? My lical gym does a ncef course for 1400e for a pt course.

I have looked on google and cannot find a ISSA course in dublin.

Anyone have any info or links?

    Cheers

Why does it have to be ISSA?

And just be careful when pricing things.

You need to do L3 Gym Instructor before you can move on to do L4 PT. Some courses advertised have both rolled together, whereas some show separate.

Hi Hanley. I priced the ncef so i was just looking for the ISSA course before spending that kind of money. Was also talking to someone who did ISSA and they had not a bad word to say about it. I never asked the price or location of the course and cannot find any info.

I'm 99% certain ISSA is online only man.

As such, you may struggle to get insurance if you plan to operate as a trainer because of the lack of hands on teaching.

Just make sure you clear it with insurance cos that they'll accept ISSA before shelling out the shekels for it.

Worth giving Balens Insurance in the UK a call - they insure Irish PTs and are great to deal with.

ISSA is an online only program. I got my certification through them and got insurance from Balens no problem. Its a detailed course, but if you havent got the hands on experience already, and are comfortable in teaching the various exercise correctly, i'd do something more hands on.
