commonage shares

    Does anyone know can dormant commonage shares be reactivated or reallocated?

    or where can this info be found?

    Well Vesting Orders will have information about the owners of grazing rights and their share size. yourcommonage.ie might be a help to you.

    I bought land off my granduncle in 2013 and he never used or claimed on the enclosed commonage land. I submitted details for DAS in 2013 but they didn't accept this so didn't receive payment on it.

    Though in 2014 I did, as I submitted birth and death certs of both my great grandfather and granduncle and created a family tree of how I was related to them. My great grandfather is on the Vesting Order so the Dept of Ag wanted proof on my relationship to him as well as my live granduncle. This was probably an odd method that the Department used :):D


    So yeah dormant shares can be reactivated but I don't know what other way it can be done.
