Thanks a million! But discount code doesn't work?

It's gotten horrible reviews on Amazon, and the €30 mark seems to be the usual price.

To be expected really, at that price.

Would it be alright for a kid to watch YouTube videos on?

Try the code from the Irish site and not the UK one and it should work

The reviews on Amazon state is it very slow, and that MP3's even had trouble playing! I would imagine videos on this thing would be very choppy and hard to watch.

Spend an extra 50 or so euro and you will get something usable for your kid. Nexus 7 2012 refurbs are a good choice.

This tablet is in no way a bargain, for what you are getting in return for your hard-earned cash.

You would use it as a sliotar after an hour of use. Horrible yoke.

the 0.3 megapixel front camera is this tablets strongest selling point.

that should tell you all you need to know.

I recently saw a child trying to watch a YouTube video on one of those cheapie no name tablets. Not only was the touchscreen horrible but it took forever for the YouTube app to load up. It took so long for the videos to appear that he quickly got frustrated and left the tablet to one size. While I can understand why parents wouldn't like to have their kids using expensive tablets, these cheap ones are a pure waste of money.

My kids have one of these. They use it for watching cartoons that are on the sd card. Works fine using vlc. Have downloaded apps onto it and some games work fine as long as they aren't too demanding on that hardware.

Youtube is a different story, as is surfing the net......have the wifi turned off as it seems to slow everything down.

I paid about 75 euros for it in harvey norman about 2 years ago and it came with a 16 or 32 gb (can't remember) memory card
