    Hi all

Was thinking of getting a dual fuel Rangemaster double oven, maybe the 110 Classic, just wondering how people find using it?

Are the ovens big enough to fit large turkeys/baking trays etc? I looked at one in a shop and found the ovens didn't look that particularly big. Would I be better getting bigger one? I do love cooking but working full time so not at it the whole time!

Also where is the best place to purchase, is it worth going up north? We live in the North West. Prices are generally around €2,400 or so.

    Any advice appreciated greatly.

Hi. I have the classic 110 for 12 years. I do a lot of baking and cooking and I have never had any problems with size of ovens. I absolutely love it and would buy the same one again if i had to buy a new cooker. I think I paid 2400 for it. I often use the timer on the big oven to cook dinner.

    Hello

I'm literally looking at range cookers too. I can only go for the 90cm size due to size of the kitchen. I did have my heart set on a Rangemaster but now looking at the Belling Range - main reason is the width of the tall oven which is a tad wider then the standard Rangemaster and easier for bakeware etc and also has a multi-function oven.

I'm hoping to check prices in the North but did get quoted at Powercity for the Rangemaster Elan €2,200 , Toledo €1,790 - both 90cm.
    The Belling Richmond = €1599.

If I buy a bundle of appliances the quote will be cheaper so I may go there.

Though was told approx 4-6 weeks lead time from time of order to get the Rangemaster whereas Belling a few days.

also looking at range cookers and stuck with 90cm.

looking at the Rangemaster range range!

Have been told by a few people that the Belling ones have issues with the temperature of the ovens.
I am looking for one of the ovens to be multifunction but Rangemaster takes a jump of +-€300 for this option.

does anyone have a 90cm Rangemaster and if so, if you have the multifunction oven, do you use it much....if you don't do you wish you spent the extra few €€ to get it.

been using pricespy.ie to try to find the best prices

we have one for about 6 years now. i bought it from the uk and got it delivered which saved a lot on irish prices.
I would highly recommend it. the ovens are big imho and no problem fitting large turkeys etc. Its a Fantastic cooker.

    Thanks.

have also read a lot of bad reviews on Rangemaster range ovens relating to the knobs and buttons only being painted and the finish flaking and coming off after a couple of years.
Also read that their customer service is crap.

thinking about a good multifunction oven and gas hob as an alternative now.

Had my heart set on a Rangemaster but after looking at them in shops the grill looks almost unusable, only one position on most Rangemasters and it's only about an inch and a half away from the element so if you have anything taller than a sausage it will touch the element.

anyone had any experience with any of these issues?
