Lads anyone know of anywhere on the southside you can buy kerosene at the pump? Not around during the day until Saturday so would like to get something to keep us going for the meantime

Last year I had the same problem last year and the only places I found was the hardware on ballymount roundabout and a texaco garage on the far side of blessington...bit of a trek but needs must

Topaz did on the Greenhills road near power city a couple of years ago but stopped recently.

Might be easier to go to a fuel depot (wood/coal) and ask for a 20L drum of heating oil.

Is it permissible/legal to store Kerosene in 20 litre containers in a grocery shop?

Friend span out to the Applegreen. They have Kerosene but in sealed canisters so can't fill a drum apparently

Not as stuck as when it happened to us during the snow a few years ago! Can see the local being visited more than usual the next few evenings.

Both stopped supplying Kero from the pump many years ago, as did the Texaco on the Crumlin Rd.

The only place in the area currently supplying Kero from a pump is the Car-Wash place in Firhouse behind the Speaker Connolly pub beside Firhouse Shopping Centre, but I think they close at 7pm.
