I am looking to set up Sky Catch Up TV.

I have the Sky + HD Box

I am getting in Vodafone Broadband.

I did a bit of searching on Sky on how to set it up, there notes say that I need to press a WPS button at the front to connect to broadband router.

This must be a new button, there is none on my box or someone else I know. Is there another way of setting this up?

Any advice on this would be greatful

If you have an older HD box it won't have built in broadband, you can order a Connector from Sky that will connect your box to your wifi network. I've had one for ages and it works well.

There is a Wifi symbol on the box.

I have attached an image of my current box. The latest box has a WPS button beside the telephone symbol.

I don't really want to run a connector from my Sky to my router as they are in separate rooms.

    Thanks

If there is no WPS button on the Sky+HD box, then it doesn't have built-in WiFi.

You need to order an "On-Demand Connector" as above which is a WiFi adapter for the Sky+HD box, or plug the box in via wired Ethernet.

The connector just sits on top of your box. There is no additional cables running around. Do you know the model number of your box?

I found a phone connection in the room. I can connect the Ethernet cable now :)

To watch movies you need to have movies. Although you can buy movies in sky store. To watch box sets you need to have the hd package.

A phone connection in the wall will not work. It is a different system. I reckon you'll need the on demand connector.
