Hello my name is Adam, I am in my leaving cert year and I am interested in doing an electrical apprenticeship with the ESB. The application involves an aptitude test. I am wondering has anyone here every done one and knows how I can prepare myself and study for it. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks.

No real way to study for it, if you've ever done any aptitude tests before they're pretty similar, only one you could really study for is the maths one, relatively simple calculations but a lot of them to do in a short space of time

If you can find out what type of aptitude tests they're going to set (for example numerical or verbal reasoning) there are a variety of free ones online that you can practice on, use google to find them. I think you can also get books that have practice tests. I've found the best thing to do is to just practice a some tests to get into the right mindset, I definitely found that I've improved with practice.
