You can't go wrong with a Triax T.D. 64 with a galvanised wall bracket.

I can get a triax 1 meter handy but I think its overkill???

1m is a bit big for Astra 2 (sky / FTA) in ireland.
    Liable to move etc...
Triax dishes are good, strong and don't rust too quickly.

Triax dishes are great, either as already suggested td64 or Td78 if in a bad spot prone to bad weather, you will need an lnb as well best to get a minimum of a quad lnb either a triax or inverto lnb are best and a wall bracket will also be needed to put in onto the wall of your property.
