sky box hd

hi just wondering if this is possible i have a old sky box in my daughters room that i bought from adverts and im wondering is there a way to make it freeview instead of using the other channels the whole time and have it on the main menu thanks

If its an old grey sky box or an old white sky + box then just unplug it from the mains then it turn it back on with no card in and it will revert back to the English EPG. If its a sky + hd box then you will have to get an expired Uk or Ni sky card to get it to give you the English EPG.
Freeview is the Uk's equivalent of Saorview.
You wont get any Irish channels this way as you need a sub to receive them.

no its the black one unfortunitely the hd one,do you know where u can get an expired english card ?i have no idea

Probably get one on Adverts or fleabay or some of those sites
