This is a podcast from Scroobious Pip that has a variety of guests on it. There is a good mix of hip hop artists and plenty of discussion of Hip Hop, and alot outside of it. Some of the better ones have been with non-rappers though!
As I type, there are 12 available, they are released every Wednesday. The most recent with Killer Mike recorded after a recent London gig with Run The Jewels.

You can get them and subscribe here -> https://itunes.apple.com/podcast/distraction-pieces-podcast/id929136539

Or if you're not an apple fan -> http://www.scroobiuspip.co.uk/distraction-pieces-podcast/

I've never been a podcast fan, there is only one other one that I listen to regularly (rogglecast), but these talks are excellent.

I'd love to hear what others think of these.

Oh, Killer Mike also mentions that RTJ will be back in London in June.

These seem really good. Killer Mike is always good to listen to. He's such a smart guy. He has interesting guests alright, wasn't expecting Simon Singh!

Pip has built up a good network of people. I was impressed with the Simon Pegg one, bit of insight into how he got TV shows and film roles....and Tom Cruise.

The latest one with the fact checkers has some excellent insight as well.

Just caught with the latest one earlier, he's up to 30 now and the quality of
guests doesn't seem to be dwindling at all.

Highlights for me in hip-hop terms so far have been Killer Mike, Sage Francis and
Open Mike Eagle, all very interesting interviews.

I'll check it out, thanks! If you're looking for more podcasts I'd recommend the The Champs. Couple of comedians, they've had plenty of rappers on, and are quite good at interviews. Freddie Gibbs gave them a nice interview

Juan Ep is a fairly good podcast too, great guests most of the time.

I've been keeping up to date with Distraction Pieces, really like it. Just how the converstation flows is excellent. But I'd like to see him getting back to more hip hop people.

Juan Ep is pretty good, but I don't follow that religiously, I'd just catch the odd one.

Has anyone checked out the Romesh podcast, it's excellent, loads of talk on Hip Hop. I was basically nodding my head in agreement in what was being said.
Checking out the Amanda Palmer one now.

I've also dipped my toes into Joe Rogan and more into Open Mike Eagles 'Secret Skin' podcast. Any Doomtree fans should listen to Secret Skin, he has ones with P.O.S, Sims (facinating) and Dessa.

New episode up now with P.O.S
Another episode at midday today with Dessa

There will also be a hip hop oriented bonus podcast on Friday.
