Quick question for all the tech heads here. When you get a new device, is it better to use the battery down and fully charge it ? or just charge the device right away ?

Thanks for any replies in advance.

Charge it right away. The old batteries used to have the memory point but modern ones do not.

Batteries these days don't have memory associated with them. So it is safe to charge your device whenever you want.

Generally though you don't want the battery to run flat so always make sure it gets charged when it starts hitting 10%.
