Need to reboot router everytime I use Skybox in bedroom

So I have my Sky Box in the bedroom and I watch a lot of on demand stuff, and when I turn it on I need to go into the living room to reboot the router so the TP Line adapter can connect. I mostly have the adapter connected to my PC and remove it to use in the bedroom. It works fine on the PC and I'm online in 2 seconds. Anyone have any idea what to do to sort this out so basically I can just plug the adapter in and the Sky Box connects without me having to reboot the router, cheers.

all units with lan connections be it sat/cable boxes need their own lan feed for permanent connection.
