Maybe a strange question. Does anyone know what the protocol is with babies in taxis in the Canaries. Flying into Tenerife in a few weeks and i want to know whether we can get the baby in a taxi out to the hotel.

Can't comment on Tenerife specifically but in both Lanzarote and mainland Spain we've booked taxis in advance and requested baby seats when booking. Most big companies would have them. The taxi man would then be waiting at arrivals with your name on a sign.
