What gear should I use when on my turbo trainer.

The trainer has a resistance lever, should I stay in the same gear and move the lever up and down for climbing and sprinting etc.

Or change gear based on the level of resistance i.e. high level of resistance for a climb should be matched with a low gear.

    Cheers
    B

Get yourself a heart rate monitor and you can see, what heart rate zones you are training in. Read up a bit about heart rate training , also depends on what you are training for. The resistance and cadence(your rate of pedalling can be altered to simulate different conditions).
