    Hi everyone. Happy new year.

I was just wondering can a tractor tyre be repaired using a repair type shoelace like they use to repair car tyres. There is a tek screw jammed in the front wheel of the tractor. It's a 480 size tyre. Or does the tyre need to be taken off and patched.

Thanks for your help on this

If not going down leave alone. Did a front tyre on loading shovel during silage with one, not a bother since. What's the bets she on the rim in the morning:)

In relation to your problem adne we had the same grief with another tractor last year. We took the easy way out and put a tube on it. Sorry I can't be of more help

Get your tire man to put bead sealer around the rim

Buy a tin of bead sealer. Handy to have. About 30 euro, will do dozens of tyres.

I do always put a dab of blue grease along the bead of the tyre when im blowing them back up.
