    €8.65 x 40 = €346 x 7% = €24.22.

Looks like your lower rates have been allocated to another employment.

Were you on emergency tax? Was your income tax correct?

if all your income is being USC taxed at 7% and this is your only employment, ring revenue on Monday and ask them to correct it. errors do happen in Revenue and it can be easily corrected once they know about it. Also request the balancing statement to get 2014 sorted. if you are due back USC, you will get it.

The 7% USC rate is either the emergency rate for usc or Revenue have issue a certain with 7% rate for some reason. Contact them ask why it is at 7%. One common reason is former employments which you have finished can still sometimes show as live on Revenues systems for some reason until you you advise them when you finished them.
You can check what Revenue have on file for you by logging into your PAYE anytime account.
