I have a Fiat 850 and the slow jet on the carb is breaking my heart!!
It keeps clogging and I cannot figure out where the **** is coming from, the engine was rebuilt last year and I've a mini fuel filter in line from the tank which is clear so it has me stumped!!

Its a real ball ache!! Any ideas?

Is the carb the single choke Weber/Holley 30 ICF, Solex 30 PIB?

If so check the tiny filter above the float chamber, its behind a large brass nut , a 13/16 imperial spanner is needed to open it. Its easily jammed up with muck and if the car has been standing, corrosion between the brass nut and metal body of the carb.

Cheers for this, I'll have a look when I'm home!! As fo the carb itself, I'm afraid I don't know. The car is 72 if that helps with what carb may be on it.....
