I'm 19, haven't played since early secondary school. Anybody know any places for beginners in central Dublin, Kildare or Meath? Help will be greatly appreciated.

In that area there are loads and loads of clubs so hard to know where to point you tbh. Clubs are always happy for new players to join, especially around this time of year.

Pretty much any club will be more than happy to have beginners train with their junior squads. Best bet is to just try and contact your local club and see what days they train.

The easiest thing we can do to help you find a club which will be right for you is to ask you two questions.
    • Where do you live and study/work? Little point in trekking over the province if you have closer clubs to you.
    • What standard did you play at in school and do you wish to still play at that level? If you played SCT to a high level then you might want to find a club with an U 20 or AIL set up. Conversely, if your playing highlight was shining up the half time oranges then low J's rugby will be crying out for you, especially if you can fill a specific shirt for them.

Where did you play and what school? Did you ever play with a club? Being bit more specific with where you are based will help you get more suggestions on clubs to join
