Gti Edition 30 -fake?

Trawling through DD at the moment looking for my next car (mk6 gti/audi tt/e92 bmw) and this caught my eye

The edition 30 has a K04 turbo instead of the K03 found on the regular GTi.
At first glance this looks like a genuine ED30, looks to have a genuine ED30 interior anyway.

It would have to be a UK import to be genuine, this doesn't look like it is..odo is also in km, not miles but maybe this can be changed?

Not interested in it myself but thought I'd stick it up here in case anyone else is, might avoid them being possiblly duped.

Any VW experts confirm if its genuine?

What does an insurance alert normally mean? I went to view this car today and came across this thread.

Its been for sale in Jan 2015 and again in Sept 15 and now again.

Alarm bells are ringing. Any info appreciated

Written off before i reckon, or its been modified.

It's been modified in the sense that it has all the edition 30 body parts, wheels and interior. Would that count as modified?

What did the seller say when asked?

I only started digging around online after I saw it in person, I didn't have the reg beforehand.

I'll be speaking to him again and will ask, it's a dealer selling it.
