Traktor Pro 2 problems

Can anyone help please with a problem that has all of a sudden developed with my Traktor Pro 2 software. Everything was running smoothly up until today and now all I'm getting is track stutter and clipping noise? No new updates installed for the software or my PC, no settings changed on either too and my PC isn't overloaded.

I've tried lowering the latency but that's actually making matters worse, has me completely baffled

    Thanks in advanced.

You Mean Increase the latency I hope, lower = more CPU

I was on the Traktor forum and they said to lower the latency, tried increasing it too and still have the same issue

What soundcard are you using ? .. does it still happen if you use the built in soundcard ?

If yes, you might have hardware fault cpu/ram/hdd
If no, re-install/update the audio drivers and see if that helps, if not re-install traktor.

Sound Blaster Z, done what you suggested already and no help unfortunately. Regarding the inbuilt soundcard in my decks I've haven't been able to get it to work, I have a Pioneer DDJ T1.

Finally got the inbuilt soundcard working but still have the same problem, safe to say it's a PC issue

    Not necessarily over yet :p

Try using traktor without any external devices plugged in. If it starts working without crackles then maybe the mapping is corrupted (re-import the DDJ settings) or your USB drivers borked (might be picking it up the port as USB 1.1)

Definitely something with my PC, tried all of the above and still have the same issue so I tried the controller on another PC and it works fine.
