young and lively holiday to Hersonissos, Crete Island

Looking to book a 2 week holiday next summer and we're looking at hersonissos in crete or one of them islands. There's three of us, girls, and we went to Santa ponsa last year for 2 weeks after the leaving cert. What would anyone say are the best apartments or hotels in hersonissos for a young and lively holiday that aren't too expensive? And would anyone recommend somewhere even better to go than hersonissos? Thanks!

I've been to most of the party holiday destinations including Santa Ponsa and Crete. Have to say Crete was my favourite but they are all much the same.

I didn't stay anywhere I'd recommend in Hersonissos so can't help you there sorry! There is quite a lot of hills on the island so take that into consideration when booking.

My only recommendation would be to go when it's busy season, which is probably more expensive, these places are quite sh*t when the strip is empty.

Can anyone recommend the best greek island for a young and lively holiday for three girls (18/19yrs)? We were in Santa ponsa last year for two weeks had he best time ever, and are hoping to head to a greek party island e.g. crete (probably hersonissos), zante, rhodes however we can't make up our minds! Also flights seem to be difficult to organise for cheap, but they seem easy enough to organise for Corfu? Which of any of these islands do irish head to most?

Looking to go on holidays with my girlfriend in august. Was in santa ponza last year and loolooking for something similar clubs, pubs etc.
Thinking about Crete, Rhodes, Zante or Corfu but heard it's expensive.. Any advice would be great. Thank you
