Looking at the top 5 on the officialgaa YouTube page

#5 was a free-out as Kilkenny player in a very filthy manner leads into Tipperary player with his elbow and elbows him in the face. Tipp player goes to ground holding his faceguard in pain.

#4 should have been a free to Limerick for over carrying, he took several steps without balancing the sliotar on his stick.

#3 should have been a free out as the Kilkenny player clearly trips the Tipp back at 0.56 seconds in the clip which led to the goal.

You would think that they would find fair goals at least!

If you can bend the rules such as taking extra steps for a score, hit the elbow of a player with the hurl or drag a player down when they go in on goal then that's what it takes to win an all Ireland, just look at the experts.

It seems so but should the GAA be endorsing such?

I'm from Laois, we played no All Ireland. The game needs cleaning up and more recognition of blatant fouling. Not advertising it!

If you want to see a sport with a free every 10 or 15 seconds, then by all means yes "clean it up".

would you go way with yourself them all irelands were as good as games as you see kilkenny or tipp don't advertising fouling, its no wonder laois play in no all irelands if they all have the view you do. tell you laois are no saints down the years with hurl's in their hands

You're right about #4. Took at least 12 steps. Apart from that your post just stinks of an anti-Kilkenny stance.

I agree that those All Ireland's were amazing games and so was the Munster final but no sport should be encouraging youngsters to elbow an opponent in the face or trip an opponent by stating that the goals were the "best of the year".

It may stink of anti-KK but that is just because they are in the top 5. I'm sure there were many other clear fouls too that led to goals in the year.

The post is more aimed at the GAA, find some more clean and hard worked goals for god sakes, not the sneaky elbow types!

Come back to us after you've been to your first hurling match, hopefully you'll know a little something about it then.

Was their much damage to the faceguard? Must have been bad that he was holding it in pain.

Holding his face in pain obviously but faceguard is in the way. Are you suggesting it was a dive? Anyway that's not the point of my argument but there probably should be another board about dirty play and fouling. Just feel the GAA should use their heads a bit more with stuff like this. My young lad was the one who showed it me.

must have elbows like steel to penetrate the faceguard and injure his face so.
