    Hey,
My current job needs me to have a better understanding of motor control, PlCs etc....
Is there any evening courses that would help and would mechatronics be the best option.
I have the basics as I am a qualified sparks and did a degree in sustainable energy but most of the stuff learned in phase 4 and 6 has been forgotten.
My apprenticeship didnt expose me much to motor control/ PlCs, supplying power was about it :(
    Based in Dublin/Kildare
    Thanks for all your feedback

Off the top of my head I don't know any but a good place to start looking would be Tallaght, Blanchardstown, Sligo, Athlone, Limerick and all the I.T.'s.

They tend to offer night courses, some of which can be done by distance, which cover PLC's/automation.
