    Amazon prime content isn't really available here so it's probably not as good as a generic android box. There's an android forum that weighs up the pros and cons of each

    In short, the Stick is less powerful but depending on how you use it you might not care, and lacks the voice remote that comes with Fire TV.

    Personally I wouldn't see it replacing my Chromecast but I do think it is a bargain. If anyone is invested in the Amazon system it would be a great buy.

    The fire TV is much better then a Chromecast with the 2 main things being you don't need to have a separate mobile device and that the FireTV is remote friendly meaning it can fit in easily to an existing family setup and be very easy for everyone to use...
