Hi, I'm a 6th year student and I am tied between choosing UL or Nuig to go to college. I want to do business as that is what I find I like.I am wondering does UL offer a good and well recognised business degree, and will employers hire students from that course. Any info on the night life and social aspects would be a help,as well as the sporting facilities. All in all I want to know is UL a good university and is it based good business course. Cheers

Graduate here. Business in UL is a good course you get to sample everything for the first year and a half then you major with some pretty good ones, some are better than others. UL has the added advantage of co op which means by the time you leave you will more than likely have more experience in your field than other graduates you will be competing with. You can also go international for this. Any other questions that are more specific? you can PM and I'll help you out. UL also has great clubs and socs and the nightlife in the city is pretty good. Anyone I have met that has moved to limerick for college loves it. UL also always seem to have the highest graduate employment, I don't know if this is true but it is always popping up around the internet!

Cheers mate for the reply, I really do appreciate it! I was hoping to major in either, accounting and finance, Economics and finance, or marketing! Whichever route offers the highest salary. In relation to the co-op it sounds brilliant and I'd defo like to do it in somewhere like the USA. Do the club's and socs go on good trips like skiing or diving? What sports are tge biggest in ul? Thanks
