HELP - Hep B - South East Asia

Can someone tell me whether it is necessary to get the Hep B vaccine?

I leave on Jan 9 to travel South East Asia (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam & Cambodia) for 7-8 weeks. I've already gotten the Hep A & Tyhpoid combo vaccination that my GP recommended. Is it necessary to get Hep B too? I've read online that the injection is done in 3 stages and take 6 months for the course to be complete before embarking on travel.

I leave in 2 weeks and I'm starting to panic now.

    HELP

Been around the region a fair bit and never had the hep b injections, never took malaria tablets, and also had ice in my drinks a lot. I'm still alive anyway.

Not going to say whether you should or shouldn't get the vaccine but I wouldn't cancel the trip over it anyway. Much more likely to get wiped out off a moped in Thailand or drowning in Vang Vieng than catching hepatitis in my experience.
