    I would really appreciate recommendations for a small get-together next Saturday, 3rd January, Dublin City centre or North Side for partner's 40th. Family & close friends.

    Considering the Odessa but... all those stairs!!

    Details:

    * 18 total including six children, three under two.
    * 2pm-3pm
    * Canapés with option of lunch
    * I'll bring the cake

    Thanks for your help with this.

    Better suited here OP. People who post in Food & Drink don't necessarily know much about Dublin restaurants :)

    Moloughneys in Clontarf? Parking fairly close by on the sea front.

    Also Tillies in Clontarf, parking at Church across road. Don't have their own function room, but might have space.

    Little Venice in Santry - own car park (plus bar).

    There are lots of others. I'm thinking more of the kids and access for these.
