I did pretty well this year. In our house we got:

Hard to get presents for me since I pretty much have everything I want now. My girlfriend did pick up some japanese Famicom and Super Famicom games for me though.

Got a retron 5 off the wife so I can box up and store my originals. Once it's properly hacked I can box up all my old games too. Happy with that for sure

Wouldn't go packing them up too soon. If you are a stickler for accurate emulation, the emulation is a bit naff apparently (Castlevania 3 not working is a sure sign of a terrible emulator) with a lot of games not really working. Probably grand if you are not too pushed but I find everdrives better (but immensely expensive) and are at least authentic.

Ooh! I have that one, my backlog exploded after it! Though I still don't understand why Spyro isn't in it!

I have a bit of a wierd one. My sister gave me Lost Planet 3 and Pac-Man and the Ghostly adventure. I'm convinced she walked into HMV and picked up the first two 360 games she saw.

The girlfriend got me Sam & Max Season one (Wii) as well as another game that i wont find out until tomorrow. (It's either Alien: Isolation for the 360 or The Last of Us)

My father clearly knows me best though as he got me a boxed 3DO and a couple of games for it!

A Panasonic 3do ? My brother won one of them in the Sunday world in 95, great console , too bad it didn't work out.

Yeah, spent half of christmas day playing Road Rash and freaking out because it was afraid someone would give it a knock or something.

The only concern in that case would be for the persons leg the 3DO (assuming it's an FZ-1) is very well made console, very solid. Excellent present!

If a planet killer asteroid is on the way, the FZ-1 is the device you want to be hiding behind, it's the most solid piece of electronics I own!

Wow, you've a full year's worth of gaming there!

Love the Gamecube stuff, those are my favourite Star Wars games.

Prepare for big time happy feelings playing that one, it's simply incredible.

Drive Club is pretty good too, but be prepared to download a savage 2Gb update to get the awesome dynamic weather.

I played the demo of Bayonetta 2 earlier today. The action certainly felt nice and smooth but I was only playing on the gamepad so very hard to judge how it actually looks. The small screen was making it hard to make out what was happening.

Have to say, everything I've tried so far has worked splendidly, including SuperFX based stuff. There's also now a method of playing backups, so everything is boxed up and ready to go into the in-laws basement to gather dust for a while until we move into a place that'll accommodate all the consoles and games I've built up... well, apart from the N64, but I need to get a thin 4mm hex driver so I can clip the region protection bits off on that particular console
