DID sale is starting tomorrow morning at 9. I like the look of the Samsung Fridge Freezer that they're advertising as a door buster offer. Any idea what the chance would be of getting one online in the morning? Don't really want it bad enough to go out and queue for it!

It's pretty bad alright. The fridge is the only thing I'm remotely interested in.

Did you get the fridge? See they're gone this morning. I'm going to try store but don't feel optimistic

You should be able to order that fridge now - they've just added more stock online.

Says 10 available at the moment.

I rang the number that was on the site at 9am, as there was none available and I was under the impression that was the start time. He advised checking back in a while as the purchasing manager would be putting more online.

true enough, 10 more were added and I've just got one - and i am now under the the impression that more will be added periodically over the day.

good luck folks - hope it is worth it now :)

We got 1 @ 9 this morning in store now all I have to do is build a unit to put it in with ventilation.

I got one online at about 6:30. Glad to hear that they're adding more. Not really fair that the website said they were on sale at 9am and the first lot were sold out before 7am!

Anyone I know who got one only ended up using it for toasted sandwhichs. Decent price if you're actually going to use it though.

Great for toasted sandwiches devoid of any taste or moisture. Ideal for people who are on medical diets etc as the product is designed to drain juices away from the food leaving it dry, bland and tasteless. that said, good discount price! You can have mine for free:D

I have never used mine for sandwiches :( and it's ten years old.

Use it for bacon, burgers, fish, steak, its a great addition as we never had a proper grill, only the oven one which is rubbish. Would recommend it, as big ALS burgers come out lovely, steak can be cooked in minutes, tasty too.

You were selling it to me before you mentioned Big Al's burgers being lovely :pac:

I replaced my George with a halogen oven as we don't have a decent grill either. Probably the best kitchen appliance I've bought. It's in use every day.

Website indicates 10 washing machines in stock but won't allow me to add one to the shopping cart.

I have one in my cart from earlier, but it is out of stock according to the checkout page.

    A slow and frustrating website.

Edit: Found success using the phone number. :)

I was in the same situation as yourself - I gave up in the end and bought it on the powercity website (albeit a 7kg machine instead of an 8kg).

I got an email straight after confirming the purchase and a phonecall about delivery day.

Lol chrome cast 39.99 down from 49.99. I've never seen it for more than 39.

Very poor sale. Had my eye on a tv which had been €1249 throughout December, no mention of that ever being a reduced price. Same tv is now on sale for €1250 having supposedly come down from €1399.

Something similar from currys. Their tv ad for their sale had tiny writing stating their presale price was from a 4 day period months ago

€39.99 - that makes it more expensive than all the alternatives.

If you need it today it's €39 in PCworld/Dixons and Argos and it may still be possible to buy Argos vouchers in Tesco with Aldi/lidl coupons

If you need it next week it's £30 including delivery from Amazon UK (€38.25)

It was on Amazon recently for £18 with free delivery on orders over £25 - so if you don't need it now keep a watch for offers others have been £20-£25 with an on-line series.

I strolled into Navan shop while missus was in Tk Max and picked up the George Foreman for 20 quid. Sure ya couldnt go wrong at that price. I wanted a Chromecast but they had none left. They said they where gone by Xmas eve. Might wait for the Amazon offers. It's the kind of thing I want but dont need. Had to say, the shopped was packed. I think the reccession is gone in some houses. Nearly looked like mad old days.
