It's all been said in the build up thread. Let's just focus on the game here.

    Ref is Nigel Owens

Munster: 15 Felix Jones (captain), 14 Andrew Conway, 13 Pat Howard, 12 Denis Hurley, 11 Ronan O'Mahony, 10 Ian Keatley, 9 Duncan Williams, 1 John Ryan, 2 Duncan Casey, 3 Stephen Archer, 4 Donncha O'Callaghan, 5 Billy Holland, 6 CJ Stander, 7 Tommy O'Donnell, 8 Robin Copeland.

Replacements: 16 Kevin O'Byrne, 17 Eusebio Guinazu, 18 BJ Botha, 19 Dave O'Callaghan, 20 Paddy Butler, 21 Neil Cronin, 22 JJ Hanrahan, 23 Johne Murphy.

Leinster: 15 Zane Kirchner, 14 Darragh Fanning, 13 Luke Fitzgerald, 12 Gordon D'Arcy, 11 Dave Kearney, 10 Ian Madigan, 9 Isaac Boss, 1 Michael Bent, 2 Richardt Strauss, 3 Tadhg Furlong, 4 Mike McCarthy, 5 Kane Douglas, 6 Dominic Ryan, 7 Shane Jennings (captain), 8 Jack Conan.

Replacements: 16 Aaron Dundon, 17 Maks Van Dyk, 18 Jamie Hagan, 19 Tom Denton, 20 Jordi Murphy, 21 Luke McGrath, 22 Jimmy Gopperth, 23 Noel Reid.

I'd say Munster to edge it but lbp for Leinster.

Paddy Power says Munster are four point favourites.

Hugely disappointed with the restricted teams but as always when it comes to Munster, I want a win. I think Leinster have a few key players, Darcy, Kirchner, Fitz to name a few but I hope we can do enough to slow down their ball and do enough to get an early lead for ourselves and get the crowd behind us.

It's been raining all day so the field and ball will like a bar of soap whiuch will lead to lots of scrums, so we'll probably see a very start/stop sort of game.

    Gwan Munster

If this was in Dublin with those teams Leinster should take this all day long, but home advantage is massive in these types of games. Still Munster have lost 3 in TP already this season so there should be no psychological hang ups from Leinster, they should be going out there expecting to win.

Just typical that Madigan finally plays at 10 and the weather is apparently filthy, it should properly test him though

I'm thankful D'Arcy is ahead of Reid. Reid has been one of Leinster's best players in any match I've seen this season and I think it's a howler not to start him against a plodder type 12. I think Hurley will be able to contain D'Arcy.

BBC Alba as well. I'm not sure if the commentary will be in Scots Gaelic or English.

The weather is rotten at the moment. I doubt this will be a classic!

Noel Reid is out. He is replaced by Collie O'Shea. His last appearance was for Leinster was 9 minutes against the Ospreys last April.

Anyone got a link for good radio commentary? Just heard they are going to be doing the commentary in scots gaelic on bbc iplayer. For anyone watching it on your TV they said english commentary is available through the red button. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to switch to that online in bbc iplayer though :(

edit: nvm, found it on live 95 fm. unfortunately the tv feed is about 5 seconds behind

He's had massive injury problems since then but he's a good player. Reid is still a big loss.

Crap the signal to the depths of Connemara is weak I've only seen 2 minutes of play keeps skipping and jumping. A bad connection

What a kick, breakdown before it was an absolute war though.

You'd think being closer to the transmitter your signal would be fine!

    Balls...

Munsters clever kicking game showing up Leinsters terrible one. Leinster get 3 line-outs in 3 minutes and lose both territory and possession as a result. They also seem to be winning the collisions. Need some possession lads.

    Hope Ryan is ok.

Could do without that early injury. Ominous.

    Nicely worked try

And there's the result of handing the ball over at every opportunity to the opposition.

    Defence really isn't good enough

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Try. Could be a long evening.

I mentioned a while ago that stander always loses his shirt. Definitely an advantage.

That try should NOT stand. He wasn't wearing his shirt.

It's a bit odd alright.. All the supposed protocols they have in place now, and still a lad is allowed to play and score a try with a different jersey to his team... Could they not have just borrowed one from a big lad in the crowd, or why did he not have a shirt in the first place?

    Boss is a disaster

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Leinster with ball in hand going nowhere. So we kick. And now Munster are several metres from our line. This is painful.

Ah that was a pity. Very nice break from keatley.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,619 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Keatley just jogged around whichever front rower ended up there.

Ah FFS defence woeful from leinster

Defense!? Luke Fitz makes a great break into the Munster half and how do we capitalise? We run down blind alleys and end up back in our own half. All that came from a totally inept attacking structure.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,717 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Better. Leinster need to get calm and get clever

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,619 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Smart play from dk and Fitz
