Hey guys, getting my first DSLR tmw and was just wondering what i should be looking for in an SD card. All these mb/s transfer rates, are they at all relevant or can I just pay based on GB size?
    Thanks.

get a brand name and dont bother with anything thats not a '10'.

size isnt that important really, shooting jpeg you'll get a lot of images onto a 4 gig card.

Sandisk Ultra is a good card at a decent price (online). The Extreme is better but unfortunately the prices have risen in recent years.

    Hi,

I was browsing and came across these. They seem to meet the required specs. for DSLR's and add wi-fi to your camera for transferring your pic's to a smart phone or tablet.

Seemingly I cant post URL's , so browse Amazon for "Eyefi Mobi 8GB WiFi SDHC CARD"

    Jemser.
