Any of ye mess around making stuff out of old car parts?

I tend to fixate on finding uses for old car wheel rims, I just muck about trying to make stuff out of them. Here's a couple I did recently as Christmas gifts for people:

I do, but generally, I just do them because I like them. :D I go nuts putting high end speaker drivers in with high power amps that blast out tunes and look cool - they end up in wealthy peoples lofts and never get seen. I only do them to make people bash out a grin in my own mind. :) Bit of fun tbh..

They run about €120 a piece BA, a fair bit of work goes into them. Then again, I've done stereo/speaker combos that ran to a grand, so I suppose that put's it into perspective?

    Are wheels any good, acoustically?

They are, you just need to ensure there's nothing to vibrate- everything needs to be locked down tight and well vented. If you do that, acoustically, they are deadly.
