We've had the Winter Solstice, days will be getting longer by 1m each day now for the next wee while.

What will you do with the extra brightness? I plan on eating turkey sammiches.

No real stretch in the days until about the 7th or 8th of January, the incremental changes these days are miniscule.

On topic, I'm looking forward to cutting the turf.

With the extra time gained since the 23rd, I'll possibly walk to the fridge and halfway back.

I certainly noticed the extra minute last night.

There actually is for very early risers like myself. When your alarm goes of at 5:30 every morning you see the differences week to week.

The evenings will be marginally brighter from now on but the mornings will continue to get darker for another week or so.

Only 3 days into the stretching and I can feel a grand stretch already. Got great use out of my extra minutes of daylight today

All this extra daylight and my solar panels produced enough hot water for a couple of showers, sunny days ... :D
