Probably a long shot but does anyone have any idea what time Bono and Glen et al normally make an appearance on Grafton St on Christmas Eve? Trying to figure out if I can make it or not. Not much info online. Thanks

Bono had fairly serious surgery a few weeks ago, I doubt he will be there this year.

Yeah that's right. He was spotted on Grafton St in the last week or so. Just on the off chance he might be there tomorrow anyway. Thanks

I'd say 4ish when the shops are starting to close. He is normally photographed leaving one of the restaurants on the green. U could check the closing times of nearby restaurants

    No Bono this year...

Glen Hansard, The Coronas, Paddy Casey, Danny O’Donoghue, Roísín O and Damien Rice all joined throngs of Dublin shoppers for the festivities this evening.

It was to be expected with his recent surgery. The crowds are mental..

Listening to Glen Hansard on the radio in the past year he comes across as a really sound, down-to-earth guy. No airs or notions about him, despite reaching one of the biggest heights of music (winning an Academy Award). He's also culturally an open-minded guy, judging by this. Again, no notions about him just a genuine, unashamed pride in where he's from.

For all the reasons I'm impressed with GH, I'm unimpressed with Paul Hewson. Apples and Oranges.
