Why not have 'Netflix' as the thread title?

Anyway, you don't have to install anything if you're using a laptop or whatever. It's really worth the money if you can use a work around and access other versions, i.e. U.S., Canada etc.

You can get a months free trial with a Facebook account.
As for a value it depends on whether you've seen the Movies/TV series already and do you have a device for watching it on the TV like a WII or chromecast or if you have a smart tv.

    Got it here in nov.
we have the 3 users one
Am cancelling sky, havent used it in ages. One benefit of netflix, for me, is the lack of ads.

Tis great. Good selection of content that gets refreshed fairly regularly. Will always find something to watch on it though sometimes it requires a bit of dig and making sure your 'maybe list' doesn't spiral out of control ;)

It's handy too in that you can watch on different devices, not just your TV. So, if I'm abroad and have wifi in the hotel (or anywhere really), I can keep on using my account on my laptop/tablet... though the shows/movies will be a bit different due to the different regions.

Well worth it - it's the price of 2 lunches for a month's content. There's a decent enough selection of films and shows for that and even more so if you watch the content available to other regions (which I can't tell you how to do).

    It has Films, Documentaries etc

No I have Imagine Wimax which isn't a fast broadband connection and never had an issue with Netflix.

    Live streaming.

As far as I remember, you can sign up for a months free trial. The great thing about it is that a lot of devices support it.

Yes, cancel it a day before the trial is due to end.

Get yourself a Blueray DVD player with built in Netflix, you can watch it straight on the telly then after you signed up.

Or a Chromecast for €30 and cast from your phone, tablet or PC to the TV.

Netflix is well worth it if your isp allows it. Just keep an eye on your cap. It can get very costly if you exceed it ,depending on whatb isp you are with.

I use netflix every day, cant recommenced it enough

There's a dedicated thread here all about Netflix and the content available.

I used them before but when I go in to try and see what they have added in the last year or so, they ask me to reactivate my account before I can even browse their content. Pardon me for being a cantankerous old git, but I hate companies that are afraid to show you their wares until you sign up (foot-in-the-door technique). Always looks dodgy to me. I am quite happy to let them shag off, and get my content elsewhere.

The last time I was with them, I thought their content was very limited(for Ireland) . You may be interested in checking out screenclick.com which is a dvd postal service. I have used it for years. When I run out of dvds to watch, cancel the account for 6 mths or a year and then reactivate for a while, to get the latest dvds.

No you wont be charged but you will have to cancel it the day before you first signed up, if not you will be charged for the next month.

Yea I would recommend. The only reason I got netflix was for House of Cards but there's enough programmes and movies to keep me signed up. I would recommend a region Unblocker because certain countries only really get the newest release and you get more content for an extra five quid a month.
