bought this old girl lately, but without other half of quick-hitch frame - need to get it on the tractor, have a welder-man at the ready but wondering how best to proceed.
Was thinking of a 'crossbar' fitted to take the lift arms, how to manage the top link without tearing off the a*se of the tractor?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

The telephone poles would drive you mental alright, you'd want to be able to play the drums to drive it.

The usual way is an A-frame from the arms to the toplink. Helps stability and it's important to keep it as close to the tractor as possible also. It's worth going out to look at a few conversions if you can. Even try googling, you might find pics of how others did it.
