imitation CCTV camera

Just bought one for €20 to deter kids hopping over my back wall. It looks pretty decent since its an actual real camera housing with the electronics removed obviously. There is a flashing red LED on it also and I'm doubtful if I should activate it since I have not seen a real CCTV camera with flashing warning light. Would I be right to think using the flashing LED on it will give my camera away as a fake?

    Thanks

Leave the flashing LED off. Cameras don't have them.
