depends torally on where you go, I went to one hairdresser who quoted me €160 while another quoted €240!!! (both belonging to the same popular Irish chain!)
In the end I bought the bleach and did it myself, have received many compliments on it and people I tell cant believe I did it myself! I even had a hairdresser compliment it when getting my hair styled for a wedding

oh my god theyre crazy prices.. all i want is a little because im chopping my hair up real short anyway, literally above my shoulders so i thought it would be much cheaper than that...i wouldnt risk doing it myself because my hair is dark brown and id be afraid I'd mess up!

well it could be cheaper on short hair, my hair is very long. Possibly why I have no fear of doing it myself 'cos I can just get it cut out if I balls it up. Try smaller local hairdressers, a lot of places will want u to go in though to quote for balayage, it can be hard to get prices from their websites

I used to get balayage done on my long hair(boob length about) and for a cut too it came to around 80ish I think. This was just a local salon though, but Id say you could find somewhere for a similar price.
