Are all free hubs compatible?

I have a winter / commuter - a btwin triban 5. After reading reviews of these, the wheels and the freehub in particular was generally considered to be sh!te and prone to failure after few miles, so I have replaced the wheels with shimano r501s.

But I had an issue with the rear shimano wheel which hopefully will be sorted under warranty. In the meantime, I have a dubious rear wheel that I inherited from a second hand bike purchase about 3 years ago. It's an Alex rim on unknown hubs. It works, but doesn't give me that fuzzy feeling. Bearings I think are shot.

As a true horder, I've accumulated a collection of various wheels that are beyond economic repair (mavic askium and a shimano r501) but have relatively few kms in them - the shimano in particular I wrote off in a pot hole after about 6 months on the bike. So other than a shot rim the rest is perfect.

And this got me thinking - can I swap the freehub body from one of these to the stock b'twin wheel. So I have a decent spare rear wheel - won't win any prizes in the performance or looks category, but will have semi-decent innards?

Edit - the stock btwin are 9 speed. The mavics and shimano will take 9 speed as well afaik

    No.. You can't..

But the bearings aren't necessarily a freehub problem- they are how the axle turns smoothly in the housing..
Bearings can be made to run smooth by simple degreasing and re grassing if they are loose as Per..shimano
Cartridge bearings aren't so easy however..
But a soak in diesel over night can get you an extra bit of time - not much but some ..
