I'm having this weird problem with the window washer on my Peugeot 307, when I try to activate the front window washer, the wipers come on in the front, but the rear sprayer comes on, but no rear wiper. When I activate the rear sprayer that works as it should. Any ideas what could be causing that and how to fix it? Its very annoying!

Could be some mental electronic gremlin. but surely swapping the hoses at the bottom of the tank should kinda solve it.

If theyre both coming out to the back though? Would swapping them fix it?

Well you'd have water coming out the front in both cases.

Its an odd one, the same pump does both hoses, pump only has 2 terminals and depending on the polarity is, it'll pump the front or back screen.

I can't see how, but it may be a fault in the pump.

Just thought I'd update this thread, the starter on the car gave up (a month after being replaced) so I had that replaced (for free thankfully). Apparantly the faulty starter somehow caused this problem, as it is now back working the way it should be!

Maybe some earthing issue that fixed this too. Electronics can show up as the weirdest failures.
