Spend and Save starts again on 27th December: www. dunnesstores. com/offer5/food-wine/fcp-category/home

Usual stuff- €5 Off €25, all the way up to €40 Off €200. To get a voucher, you must spend €25 to get €5 off, €50 to receive a €10 etc...

Might be handy for those looking to budget for the new year- these normally run for a few weeks, but I wouldn't be surprised if it runs for a couple of months, based on the fact that they ran this practically non-stop from August to November....

Did anyone receive their Dunnes vouchers yet ? ( the ones you get 3or4 times a year ) I though we'd have them before Xmas

Is that an oxymoron - spend and save? or maybe a contradiction in terms

Just to say that I got vouchers a couple of weeks ago which gave me about two-thirds off my Christmas grocery bill today. However, I am also aware that prices are just like yo-yo's all year. I doubt the customer ever truly wins. We are just meant to THINK that we win sometimes!

I thought this was a great offer and took full advantage of it over a number of weeks. I've kept all my receipts over the last few months and looking back, I did spend considerably more than normal so not sure did I actually save. I did however get €35 back in vouchers, so that was a nice reward for my efforts.

The way I read it, the spending has to be done before Christmas, so up to and including 24 December. The earned vouchers to be used 27 December or later.

There isn't any voucher for the last few times i visit over the last 2-3 weeks (or longer). So where is the voucher gonna come from if it is going to be before?

Unless dunnes selectively printing out vouchers for certain customer only?

I am clueless on how they work out the points. Think 30e or more has to be spent to generate something but I could be way off.

you receive 1 point for every €1 that you spend and there isn't a spend threshold to accrue points, so even just buying the newspaper at the price of €2,30 for example will earn you 2 points which then gives you 2c back in your vouchers :)
