I need perspective before the courts are called when they are open

Someone I know took their ex to court due to no maintenance not being paid over 2 years so to get that and to confirm it going forward,2 court appearances previous with a no show once so that should be noted...During the most recent court date an attachment of earnings was granted to begin in the new year...However just today two weeks later the court order comes in the post, its signed a week after the court appearance, saying the variation to pay arrears was confirmed but didn't mention the attachment of earnings and page similar to the order was in the envelope saying that court has been ajourned for until march regarding the attachment of earnings

    What has happend here?

It was agreed in court but now they have to go back to court regarding it?

Has the person appealed it or can anyone shed some light and what might have happend?

That post is confusing. What needs to be done here is that a solicitor needs to take up a copy of all of the relevant court orders and advise as to what has happened. Whoever it is needs a solicitor.

My thinking and purely a personal opinion, Your friend only got the paperwork relevant to them. The attachment of earnings order would be for the ex and the ex's employer.

I understand that the attachment would be for the exs employers but shouldnt it still state it on the court order that that's how it's too be paid? An important part if it being left out is a but strange and then the accompanying letter saying it's been ajourned?
